A monk’s life is dedicated to higher ideals. Revered Maharaj has expressed these ideas and ideals on various subjects through a good number of articles published in the important journals of the Ramakrishna Order and different souvenirs and magazines. Sixty Eight of these articles has been compiled in this book under fourteen sections, thanks to Swami Jnanavratananda of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math.
Along with many serious writings, there are light-spirited ones like travelogues, etc. which are the outcome of his extensive travel in india and abroad.
